Elite™ EPDM

A seamless, high-performance safety surface created by combining premium Elite™ EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber granules with a specialised polyurethane binder. The mixture is poured in place over a prepared sub-base and professionally troweled to form a smooth, continuous, impact-absorbing finish. We install a wear layer a minimum of 15 mm deep — we don’t take shortcuts.

Blue gravel or crushed stone arranged in a circular shape.

Unlike hard surfaces such as concrete, asphalt or modular tiles, Elite™ EPDM wet-pour rubber delivers superior cushioning and flexibility. It will not crack or split while significantly reducing the risk of injury from slips, trips and falls while providing a durable, low-maintenance surface that meets Australian safety standards.

Designed for the Australian climate

Australia’s intense UV radiation, high summer temperatures, and periods of heavy rainfall demand outdoor safety surfaces that are truly built for local conditions. Our premium EliteEPDM wet-pour rubber delivers exactly that.

UV-stable EliteEPDM granules are specifically formulated to resist fading, chalking and degradation under Australia’s harsh sunlight — conditions that are among the strongest in the world. The permeable structure allows rainwater to drain quickly and efficiently, minimising puddles and keeping play areas usable soon after wet weather. Combined with a naturally anti-slip texture, the surface maintains reliable traction even when wet.

These characteristics make EliteEPDM wet-pour an ideal choice for schools, childcare centres, public parks, outdoor gyms and recreational facilities right across Western Australia and the rest of the country — delivering lasting colour, consistent safety performance, and year-round reliability.

Elite™ EPDM granules are coloured right through the material, so the surface keeps a clean, even appearance even as it wears.

Installed as a seamless wet-pour layer over a recycled rubber base, it provides dependable impact absorption and a stable, free-draining finish that performs well in Western Australian conditions.

Retech Rubber supplies and installs quality EPDM systems that comply with Australian Standards, giving schools, childcare centres and commercial sites a practical, long-wearing safety surface with a wide choice of solid colours. Select from the range below to match your project requirements.
